Remember When

Traveling, I am often enchanted with old buildings and their stories.  This gas station is in a farm community in Eastern Washington, but it could be anywhere.  The gas pumps no longer function but add a touch of color to the plain facade and barren surroundings.  The first time I drove past it a faded sign saying "Wine" was still visible on the front overhang.  I guess that didn't work out so well because the next time I passed by

things had been spruced up a bit and "Coffee" had been stenciled in it's place.  The dog, Decaf, seems to be waiting to greet someone.  Anyone.  I don't know what the wine was like, but the coffee isn't bad.
